Platform coverage

Publishing workflows for TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and YouTube.

Five platforms, one workflow. Each account connects through the platform\u2019s own official login, publishing runs through one content endpoint, and status and analytics read back per platform. The comparison below covers what differs.

TikTok

TikTok API capabilities

TikTok publishing runs through official account flows, either a standard TikTok login or the QR login workflow for products that link accounts inside their own interface. QR login requires a Professional or Maximum subscription plan.

The content endpoint handles a single video or a photo carousel of up to 35 images. Video should be MP4 or MOV with H.264, 9:16 vertical at 1080x1920, between 3 seconds and 10 minutes. Either type can be published now or scheduled up to 30 days ahead.

After publishing, status tracking reports queued, processing, published, or failed. Analytics cover followers, likes, video count, and top videos.

Instagram

Instagram API capabilities

Instagram publishing targets business or creator accounts connected through Instagram Login. The account has to be an Instagram professional account.

One content endpoint covers single photos, carousels of up to 10 media items, and video. Image posts use JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF where the platform supports it, and carousels should stay photo-only rather than mixing stills and video in one post.

Instagram analytics cover reach, profile views, interactions, accounts engaged, and follower demographics where the platform exposes them.

Threads

Threads API capabilities

Threads is the most flexible text platform in the workflow. A single text post carries up to 500 characters, and a thread sequence links up to 10 items in a chain, each one text-only or text with an image or video.

Threads publishing requires the threads_content_publish scope, and each thread item counts toward the platform limit of 250 posts per user per day. Reply settings apply to the whole sequence rather than a single item.

Threads analytics cover views, likes, replies, reposts, and quotes.

Facebook

Facebook API capabilities

Facebook publishing goes to a connected Page through Facebook Login with the pages_manage_posts scope. Personal profiles are not a publishing target.

The workflow handles text posts up to 4000 characters, single photos, multi-photo posts, and video, all through the same content endpoint used for the other platforms. Mixed photo and video payloads are rejected, so keep each post to one media type.

Page analytics cover unique impressions, post engagements, page views, and follows.

Facebook API details

YouTube

YouTube API capabilities

YouTube publishing connects a channel through Google OAuth. Uploads carry the title, description, privacy, made-for-kids, and category settings that the channel needs.

YouTube classifies the upload from the video itself: vertical videos under 3 minutes become Shorts, while longer or landscape videos publish as regular uploads. The same upload can be published now or scheduled up to 30 days ahead.

Channel analytics cover subscribers, views, and video count, with per-video performance for individual uploads.

Questions, answered

Common questions about multi-platform publishing

Which platforms does Wahdx Connection support?

TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and YouTube. Publishing options and available metrics vary by platform.

Do I need a separate account for each platform?

Yes. Each platform connects its own account through that platform’s official login and permission flow, and the scopes you approve are visible per account.

Can I publish the same content to all five platforms?

You can prepare content once and select accounts per platform, but media rules differ. Text-only posts work on Threads and Facebook, while TikTok and Instagram require media. Platform-specific settings are applied per account before publishing.

How far ahead can I schedule posts?

Up to 30 days ahead for media and text posts. Scheduled content is queued and processed on the server.

What limits apply per platform?

Examples: Threads caps a text post at 500 characters and a user at 250 posts per day, Instagram carousels at 10 items, TikTok photo carousels at 35 images, and Facebook text posts at 4000 characters. Video files must also meet each platform’s format rules.

Is there a webhook for status changes?

There is no customer-registrable webhook. Post status is available through the single and batch status endpoints, which return queued, processing, published, or failed states.
